National Award winner Irfan Khan passed away today in Mumbai. He was suffering from colon infection and hospitalized yesterday. Recently his mother passed away too ...due to lockdown he was not able to meet his mother in last moment.

Before joining National School of drama He did MA from Jaipur. He is alumini of NSD 1984 batch.
Irrfan Khan (7 January 1967 – 29 April 2020) was an Indian actor, known for his work predominantly in Hindi Cinema, in addition to Britisj and American film. In a career spanning over 30 years and featuring in more than 50 domestic films, Khan had received numerous Award, including a National film Award and Film fare award in four categories.
Film critics, contemporaries and other experts consider him to be one of the finest actors in Indian cinema. In 2011, he was awarded the Padma shree, India's fourth highest civilian honour.Khan made his screen debut with a small role in Salaam Bombay! 1988. He was started to recognise in the industries after lot of struggle in the year 1989. He played many role in the various fields and medicine smile with his wonderful acting he did acting in film like pansing Tomar.

His recent film was Angrezi medium 2019 and he was unable to promote that film due to illness and also send a video message to his fans and he told that it might be possible that he would not be able to to come again to talk to us.
He not only worked in Indian films but also in TV series like Chanakya, Chandrakanta, Banegi batt Sara jahan hamara, and others tv series too.

As of 2017, Khan was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor his treatment Was going on in London for 2 years and he came back to India in 2019 but he he was not fully recovered from neuroendocrine tumor. He died at the age of 53 on 29 April 2020.
